My name is Joachim Gutierrez, a 20-year-old entrepreneur from Lufkin, Texas, and the founder of TX Pro Kicks.

My journey started when I was just 13 years old and a freshman in high school. I started out selling sneakers in the hallways and locker rooms, not really knowing how far it would eventually take me. What started as a small side hustle quickly turned into something much bigger.

After graduating high school, I launched one of the largest mobile sneaker stores in the area, selling over 200 pairs of shoes in a single day. A few months later, I opened my first physical sneaker store right here in Lufkin.

The support from the community was incredible. Within just three to four months, we had already outgrown our first location. That led us to our next move into a 2,500-square-foot store in Downtown Lufkin.

Our grand opening was a huge moment for us. Over 1,000 people came out, and we sold more than 200 to 300 items in the store in just one day. Multiple local news stations also came out to cover the grand opening and share our story.

Today, TX Pro Kicks continues to grow, and we're proud to be part of the Lufkin community. What started with me selling sneakers at school has grown into a business that I'm incredibly proud of, and we're just getting started.
